Event Details

• Location: Commons at Blackwell Elementary School
  
  
• Competition Time: 5:00PM – 6:15PM
  
  
• Who can participate: All K-5 Blackwell students are welcome to join!

How to Participate

• Please go to the Math Kangaroo Registration Page to create an account if you haven’t done yet.
  
  
• Please go to oasis-lms.com/Users/InvitationCode.aspx.
  
  

• The invitation code is “Bobcats2025” for registration at our Blackwell center this year.
  
  
• The registration fee is $18 per student (September 15-December 31)
  
  
• The late registration fee is $35 per student (January 1-February 1).
  

What to Expect

• 75 minutes multiple choice test.
  24 questions (grades 1-4).
  30 questions (grades 5).

• Every student qualifies who can read and work independently. Students can participate in the competition only once each year at his/her school grade level or a higher grade level. Participation at a lower grade level is not permitted.
  
  
• Each registered student has free access to online video solutions for questions from previous years.
  
  
• Each participant will receive a mathematical gift and a participation ribbon/badge.
  
  
• The national winners (first 20 ranks) and state winners (first 3 ranks) are publicly recognized on Math Kangaroo website. Winners will receive medals, ribbons, magnets, and electronic or in-kind prizes after the ranking announcement.
