Welcome to Blackwell Math Club!

The Blackwell Math Club is for 4th and 5th graders who want to participate in various competitions throughout the year. Students practice regularly with competition problems that will challenge their math abilities.

Registrations for 2024-2025 are now CLOSED.

Competition Dates: 

Mathematical Olympiads for Elementary & Middle Schools - MOEMS:
November 2024 – March 2025 (individual)

American Mathematics Competition - AMC 8:
January 22-28, 2025 (individual)

The Math League:
April 2025 (individual)

Math is Cool:
March 2025 (team)

Session dates: 

Thursdays 7:00 – 8:00 PM

From October 2024 – April 2025

Note: Sessions may be canceled if there is a conflict with school/PTSA events.

All sessions will be hosted online through Zoom. A Zoom invitation will be sent to the email address listed on your PTSA account. Please verify your information is up to date before registering.
 

Club Fee: 

$100 (non-refundable) which covers the competition fees, study materials, subscriptions and general operating expenses. Additional competition fees may be collected later if needed.

Expectations: 

● Students are expected to be respectful, cooperative, and follow all school rules.

● Parents are responsible for transportation and meals during in-person competitions.

● This club is parent volunteer based, if interested, please contact us.
