Blackwell Garden Club

The purpose of the Kids Garden Club is to foster a love for nature and gardening among children within the school community, these hands-on experiences will teach them about plants, ecosystems, and the environment. Our Garden Club is not just for children, it’s a great opportunity for parents to get involved and support their kids' gardening adventures!

Our goals include:

  1. Teach Gardening Basics: Show kids how to plant and care for a garden while learning about plants and the environment.
  2. Build Skills: Develop practical skills like planting and watering and teach responsibility and patience.
  3. Encourage Creativity and Exploration: experiment with different plant varieties and engage in garden-related crafts and projects.
  4. Promote Physical Activity: Get kids moving and playing outdoors through garden tasks.
  5. Foster Teamwork: Create a sense of community as kids work together on garden projects.
  6. Raise Environmental Awareness: Teach the importance of taking care of our planet.
