October is Disability History MonthUNSPOKEN Documentary Screening, October 15

Join the LWPTSA Council Special Education Group for a screening of UNSPOKEN, a groundbreaking point-of-view journey into a non-fluent speaker's world. Co-directed by autistic teen making disability history, UNSPOKEN challenges societal judgement surrounding autism and shifts the dialogue around autism towards one of inclusion, self-advocacy and human rights for all. Watch a trailer for the documentary
 
The event opens at 6:30pm with networking. The screening starts at 7pm. Following the screening there will be a facilitated audience discussion. Download a flyer with details to share.
